Two places outside of ebay and Amazon sell the Bathmate (Bath-mate.com and Bathmate.ca), but which is real? There has been much discussion around this on forums, but it seems that people are split on which site sells the real deal.

Two sites I frequented before getting the bathmate was the matterofsize one and the good looking loser. Oddly enough, the matterofsize folks all owned a bathmate from the bath-mate.com site, and those on the good looking loser forum got theirs from the bathmate.ca site. I personally bought mine from the first site, so after seeing that there were a lot of sources selling fakes — I wanted to see if I had the real deal. Both sides of the argument seemed happy with their purchase, and believed it to be the real deal… but I had to be sure.

And so what did I do?

I Emailed Both Sites

I already read that bath-mate.com uses Amazon to house and ship their products. Amazon makes big bucks doing this for companies of all sizes, so there wasn’t anything odd about that in my eyes. When a customer places an order on your site, you have Amazon ship the product for you. They fulfill orders made off of their own site all the time. Its smart business.

www.bathmate.ca and www.bathmatestore.ca are both our sites.
Both are run by a North American company that works directly with the manufacturer.
We have 3 warehouses in North America (Toronto, Michigan & Oregon) and handle warranty and support issues ourselves. So any issues and we handle it and replace the product, etc directly. We have email support and phone order line.

The other company (bath-mate.com) is located overseas (europe).
We both sell the legit product, they are just not a local company.

So The Fact is That Both Sites Are LEGIT!

Why I Think Most People Were Skeptical

Why most people were so skeptical was that literally everything on both of the sites (bath-mate.com and bathmate.ca) are incredibly similar. Usually this means someone is trying to hide behind the curtain by modeling another business down to the socks they are wearing. Another thing that threw people off is the difference in names for the domains. One has a ‘-‘ in its name, which as we know most mock companies will do to keep themselves within legal boundaries.

Where to Definitely Not Buy Your Bathmate

In all honesty, I’d stay away from public selling portals like eBay, as it is one of the least checked avenues, so counterfeiters love it.

Bottom Line is, You Can Get Yours at Either Site

Personally, I got mine from Bath-Mate.com because they used Amazon to fulfill their orders, which meant I could expect pretty fast shipping (which I didn’t, it took over 2 weeks). Bottom line is, you can use any of the above sites as they all sell the real deal.

However… I personally thought it was cool that bathmate.ca was the first to reply to me (have yet to hear from bath-mate.com yet), so maybe they really should get your business instead? Not only was the reply timely and complete, but they also took the time to point out that they have warehouses in the U.S., and handle product warranty directly. That to me is a clear-tell sign they have awesome customer service, AND deserve your business.

Do yourself a favor and order from a better store (unlike I did). Should you have questions, need a replacement, you can bet they will do it. They didn’t need to reply to my email with so much info, but did so because they know what they are doing.

Hopefully that clears up all the rumors floating around online!
